Accursed Grounds is a Map in Midnight Horrors added in Version 1.9.4, created by the ROBLOX user Draggyy. It is a continuation of Ancient Grounds, as this map takes place inside the corner pyramid the players can somewhat enter in Ancient Grounds.
Features[]
Accursed Grounds is smaller compared to the outside of the pyramid in Ancient Grounds. It has a main rectangular room holding the Red Circle of Oculus on a platform and an unknown tomb. Sand is falling from the ceiling in many spots in the map, some causing large enough hills that they act as walls, preventing players from passing. An outer hallway surrounds the main room with 3 other door ways on each side of the outer hallways. The front door has a sun symbol above it that constantly fires a sun ray onto the ground in a figure 8 motion. Touching the sun ray will instantly kill the player.
Past the door with the sun symbol is a small platform with lava surrounding it. The player can't jump across the pits making the room not really worth going into.
The side hallways lead into more hallways that end in a small loop on each side, the left side has sand covering a small portion while the right has sand covering a sizable chunk of the hallway system. Like Ancient Grounds the only source of light in this map are blue torches which are few and far between each other, making the flashlight helpful. The only other light in the map is the sun ray's light as it moves around in the main hallway.
Difficulty[]
This map is more difficult then Ancient Grounds because there is way less open space, and most of it's corridors lead to dead ends. The safest spot in the map is the outer hallways surrounding the big rectangle main room. But said main hallway also has the sun ray moving around on the front side so players must be careful to avoid it or they'll be fried and killed instantly.
The hallways to the left and right portions can be used to dodge killers if the pathways aren't blocked by sand and the player is fast enough.

- The Pharaoh King Solaris boss fight takes place in a deeper segment of this map.
- Solaris' coffin is also seen in this map, in the center room.
- In Version 1.21.0 (Easter Update 2021), an egg could be found in this map.
