Midnight Horrors Wiki

Army of Conflict is a grouped Killer in Midnight Horrors. It originates from the ROBLOX game Defend the Statue: Eras of Conflict made by Empyrean Development. It was added in Version 1.44.0.

Behavior[]

Rather than spawning all at once like most grouped Killers, the Army of Conflict will spawn one member at a time from the Red Circle of Oculus in order. They will all chase players, with each member of the Army having different methods of pursuing players.

Brickbattler (Blue) will walk towards the nearest player at a slow speed, being outran by sprinting. If any player were to be in Brickbattler's line of sight, it will proceed to aim it's Rocket launcher at them and fire. Any player caught in the rocket's explosion will be dealt decent damage. If a player was to be close enough to Brickbattler it will instead strike them with it's sword, dealing decent damage.

Juggernaut (Red) & Defiler (Purple) behave exactly like Brickbattler (although the Defiler is faster than them) but they are able to fire multiple rockets in quick succession, resulting in heavy damage to those who get hit by them. Players will also be inflicted with fire damage which will chip at their health over the course of a few seconds. Players will also be lit on fire if they get hit by their melee attack.

Noobantuan moves slower than the rest being barely faster than walking. If any player gets close enough to Noobantuan it will proceed to slam it's hammer down onto them, dealing massive damage and tripping them in the process, making them vulnerable. Noobantuan suffers from a short cooldown between each slam.

Mega Noobantuan behaves the same as its counterpart; although after 58 seconds, it will roar as it's engulfed in an orange aura. This will grant it a speed boost that is slower than the Speed Coil and will also deal more damage to anyone slammed by it's hammer, they will also be inflicted with fire damage.

Madness Arsonist will run towards the nearest player at a fast speed, being barely outrunnable with the Ultra Coil. Upon getting close enough he will slow down, and will not speed up until the player gets far enough away. If the player instead gets within range, he will ready his flamethrower and set them ablaze. This will drain their health fairly quickly and will kill if they do not get out of range in time. This will also obviously inflict them with fire damage. If the player was to make direct contact with Madness Arsonist, he will proceed to simply kick them instead. This will not deal much damage, but he is able to kick fairly fast.

Deceiver of Souls behaves exactly like Madness Arsonist, although he will rush at players at high speeds, just barely outrunning the Glass Coil. Similar to Madness Arsonist, he will also slow down and if close enough, he will proceed to set them ablaze. He will also kick them if they are too close to him.

Humanity Desiccator behaves differently from the rest, as rather than chasing players directly like the other members, Humanity Desiccator will instead run to random spawn locations at a fast speed, being able to outrun the Ultra Coil. While running around the map, Humanity Desiccator will often spew out orbs from his launcher located on his back. These orbs will explode into a lingering mist upon making contact with the ground, players who are in the mist will have their health rapidly drained. If Humanity Desiccator is within close proximity to someone, it may stand still and link itself to them draining their health rapidly. If the linked player was to get far enough from Humanity Desiccator, it will go back to it's usual behavior.

Absconding Souls behaves similarly like Humanity Desiccator, running around at high speeds barely slower than the Glass Coil. He runs towards random spawn locations while also spewing out orbs from the launcher on his back, and will link itself to players within close proximity at times.

XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX runs towards the nearest player at a speed that is faster than sprinting. If the player were to be in his line of sight, XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX will aim his sniper at them indicated by a yellow beam, shortly after he will perform a 360 spin and shoot. If the player does not avoid being shot they will take decent damage and be slowed down, leaving them vulnerable to XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX himself or the other members.

Renegade will chase the nearest player at a decent speed that is slower than the Speed Coil. Any player Renegade is able to catch up to will be slashed at with it's axes. This will deal good damage to them and has a short cooldown in-between each swing. If the player Renegade is chasing is within it's line of sight for a certain amount of time, and is unable to land a hit on them, it will proceed to do 1 of 2 things:

  • Renegade may either grapple the player using 2 ropes that are colored red and pull back, stunning the player and pulling them back towards Renegade to attack them using it's axes.
  • Renegade may also strike the ground with its axes, creating a set of spikes that moves in one direction. Anyone who makes direct contact with the spikes will be rapidly damaged. This usually results in them dying quickly, even with Double Health if players should fail to avoid this, though because it moves in only one direction it shouldn't be too difficult to avoid.

Insurrectionist behaves similarly to Renegade, being the same speed and dealing the same amount of damage with it's axes. However, the grapple ability isn't any different, although the spike attack it can perform is much faster, and will kill far quicker in comparison to Renegade's spike attack.

Noobseed will chase down the nearest player at a speed that is slower than sprinting. If the player is in Noobseed's line of sight it will proceed to slash the air with it's scythe creating a projectile, that if failed to avoid will inflict good damage. Noobseed will also simply slash at the player if they are close enough, dealing decent damage.

Notes[]

  • Army of Conflict will extend the timer to 2:50, even if it is a Special Round.
  • Brickbattler, Juggernaut and Defiler have a "deadzone" where they will neither fire their rockets nor swing their swords; the distance this "deadzone" is at is currently unknown.
  • Army of Conflict will ignore any players that are killed, and will chase and kill ally NPCs as if they were players.
  • None of the members of the Army of Conflict are able to bypass the Blue Relic, although Renegade and Insurrectionist can still pull you with their grapple ability, XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX can still slow you down and Madness Arsonist and Deceiver of Souls are able to still inflict you with fire even with the relic activated.
  • Out of all the members of the Army of Conflict, only Renegade, Insurrectionist and XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX can be stunned while the others possess stun-immunity.
  • At times, Humanity Desiccator and Absconding Souls may start to directly head to a players location instead of going to random spawns, they usually do this to link them.
  • The Heliotrope Coil is helpful in evading all members of Army of Conflict, although you can use the Emerald Coil to get out of Renegade and Insurrectionist's line of sight before they can use their grapple ability if the nearest corner isn't close enough.
  • The Emerald Coil can also be helpful for dodging XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX's bullets, though you can use other coils to evade his shots if you are far enough.
  • While Humanity Desiccator/Absconding Souls is linking themselves to a player they cannot fire any orbs.
  • Renegade and Insurrectionist will emit a unique sound when using their spike abilities respectively giving you a short warning in advance if you listen close enough.
  • Upon surviving Army of Conflict, players will be rewarded with a Badge Emote, known as Defiler Jam.
  • Army of Conflict members target Alive players, meaning they will ignore players who have already made the player count decrease and only attack those still considered alive.
  • Army of Conflict will spawn in this order:
    • Brickbattler, Juggernaut, Noobantuan, Mega Noobantuan, Madness Arsonist, Renegade, XX_MLG_NOOB_360_XX, Humanity Desiccator, Defiler, Deceiver of Souls, Insurrectionist, Absconding Souls and Noobseed.
