BEN is a Killer in Midnight Horrors. BEN is based on the creepypasta, BEN Drowned. It was added in Version 1.11.6.
Behavior[]
BEN will not move at all upon spawning, staying completely motionless. Every so often, BEN will fade away from his spot, before appearing with a green aura from behind a random player on the map. That said player will move forward a bit automatically as to avoid dying immediately. If any player were to look at BEN, they will be set on fire. This fire is very similar to HIVE's poison, it will not go away until the player dies and respawns. BEN is also capable of instantly killing any players that make contact with him, though there are no repercussions for simply standing near BEN. Any player that dies to BEN or his fire effect will be prompted with a jumpscare.

- When BEN himself targets a player facing a wall or any collidable object, he will teleport on top of said player instead of behind them due to the wall.
- BEN can kill other killers if they make contact with him.

- The model was imported by Velvet_CrossYT. The original creators of BEN's model were Demon Hamster eating my waffles and Painkiller, both contributors for sf2 Modified.
- During Ghost rounds, the green aura signifying where BEN is fading in will still be visible.
- BEN also appeared in The Hellevator, a now-discontinued game also made by CaptainSpinxs.
- BEN was removed in Version 1.52.1, but was re-added in Version 1.54.2.
- BEN can still teleport to players with killerignore activated.
- In Version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021), BEN was renamed to "Bend".
- In Version 1.55.0 (April Fools' 2024), BEN was renamed to "Ben waiting to get readded >:(".
- In Version 1.61.0 (April Fools 2025), BEN was renamed to "BENdy was a little devil thing".
- During that version, BEN's model was changed to be a mesh of Bendy, and everytime he teleported to a player, he would always say "Bendy". His music was also changed to this.
- His name during that version is a reference to a song made by Fandroid.
- The model used during that version originate from a free model.

Similar to killers like Skull Kid and Mama Tattletail, BEN could kill players who made direct eye contact with him. However, when he first spawned, he appeared static and only killed players who looked at him, staying either completely still or barely moving a few studs. However, he would suddenly proceed to pick up speed every 30 seconds and began to not only kill players who looked at him but also instantly kill players who made contact with him, before going back to static 30 seconds later and the cycle continued until the round was over. It was also still possible for him to kill players who made contact with him while he remained static. If a player did get instantly killed by BEN, they'd be prompted with a jumpscare.
