Baldi

Not to be confused with Baldy and Messed Up Baldi I made back in 2017, killers with a similar appearance from Version 1.55.0.

Baldi is a Killer in Midnight Horrors. He was re-added in Version 1.8.10. He is based off of the main antagonist, Baldi, from Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning.

Appearance[]

Baldi takes the appearance of a poorly-modeled CGI character with an appearance of a seemingly bald human figure with long, skinny fingers, pale-tan skin, red lips, and a copper strand of hair on his head. He wears a long-sleeved green shirt, blue jeans, and light brown shoes. He dons a large yellow ruler.

Behavior[]

Baldi moves similarly to how he moved in the original game, he will slap his ruler every so often and slide foward by doing so. At the start, Baldi won't move that fast. However, as he kills players, Baldi will gradually speed up, shortening the delay of every slap. The more players Baldi manages to kill, the less possible it becomes to outrun him.

Although Baldi was capable of reaching high speeds, the rate at which he accelerated was very slow. Therefore, he almost never reached speeds faster than a Speed Coil.
Baldi moves foward a significantly shorter distance when separated by an object and the closest player.
Baldi does not bypass the effects of the Blue Relic.
Baldi will chase and pursue ally NPCs.
- He will also gain speed from them.

Trivia[]

Baldi and Viktor share the same behavior.
Baldi was removed in Version 1.52.1, but was revamped and re-added in Version 1.59.0, with only his voiceline and Theme being removed, and giving him stun-immunity.
- He was then shortly fixed after his readdition due to a bug.
In Version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021), Baldi was renamed to "Hi Im baldi nice to meet you".
In Version 1.61.0 (April Fools' 2025), Baldi was renamed to "Nuclear Baldi".
- During that time, Baldi's apearance was colored green and his sounds were changed.
  - His sounds were changed to a Sonar.

Behavior[]

Like most killers during that time, Baldi will actively chase and pursue players at a speed of a Speed Coil. Any players who were caught by him will be killed instantly with no drawbacks whatsoever, he would also prompt a jumpscare to those who made contact with him.

Trivia[]

Unlike his current version, he didn't stop each time he slapped his ruler.
This version of Baldi was removed in Version 1.3 (Killer Overhaul Update).
