Bloodbath is one of the hardest Special Rounds in Midnight Horrors. As its name implies, Bloodbath will randomly spawn multiple killers at once.
Effect[]
Bloodbath rounds will summon 5 killers at the Red Circle of Oculus. Who or what the killers are are randomly chosen from the list of killers and can greatly put the players at a huge disadvantage in Midnight Horrors.
Difficulty[]
Hence its name, Bloodbath will always result in many, many deaths. Killers can split off to different directions, killing players effectively as they corner the players from both sides and some killers who would otherwise be easy to avoid like James, will become deadly as well and nearly impossible to avoid if another killer is nearby, especially since some killers have special mechanics such as Item/Tool Negation making it nearly impossible to survive. And unlike Onslaught, Badge Killers are not blacklisted from spawning in Bloodbath. This makes Bloodbath as one of the most difficult special rounds to survive, but it is possible for players to survive.
Examples[]
The map, Town provides enough space for players to run around and retreat in and there are certain spots in the map that most killers usually don't head to. Any four corners of the map can reduce the risk of the player running into any of the 5 killers active on the map, since all 5 killers will be pursuing players found in the center of the map rather than the ones found along the borders. This, however, does not assure a guaranteed victory as other players can still lure the killers towards these 'safe zones'. A map like The Backrooms will almost always result in everyone's death because of the limited space and narrow corridors players are confined to.
Notes[]
- You receive 30 points on survival (40 if you own the Double Points Gamepass).
- However in Version 1.45.0, If a Bloodbath has a time extender such as Hot Coal, The players who survived it will get 80 points with Double Points gamepass.
- After surviving a Bloodbath for the first time, the player will be rewarded with the Survive a Bloodbath Round Badge.
Trivia[]
- Along with Double Trouble rounds, Bloodbath rounds have a rare chance to repeat killers.
- Before Version 1.45.0, Bloodbath rounds began by saying a random killer's name followed by "and others."
- In Version 1.55.0 (April Fools' 2024) and Version 1.61.0 (April Fools' 2025), Bloodbath's themes were temporarily replaced to World Wide Noise.
