Chaos Cartel is a group Killer in Midnight Horrors. Chaos Cartel consists of all the "Deluxe" killers in game: Daratango, Noxiveil, Rayios and Vippy. They were added and replaced Morons in Version 1.30.0.

Behavior[]

Chaos Cartel will spawn with four members - Deluxe Daratango, Deluxe Noxiveil, Deluxe Rayios, and Deluxe Vippy. Each has their own unique AI compared to their regular solo-killer counterparts.

Daratango will start by chasing the closest player on the map. Entering his range will prompt him to throw lingering cucumbers that will instantly kill upon touching, similar to the projectiles of Omnipotent Crab. Occasionally Daratango will throw his Daratango Influence which will passively grow in size as it travels. Touching the influence will cause it to explode in a large AoE instantly killing anyone caught in the blast. If Daratango remains far enough away from the nearest target for some time he will decide to teleport towards a new, random target. He will trip the target on hit - however he won't attack or move for around 2 seconds after teleporting. Daratango moves slightly slower than the Ultra Coil.

Noxiveil will start by chasing the closest player on the map. He is granted the ability to no-clip similarly to his solo-killer counterpart. Upon reaching a player, he will do small dashes through them rapidly that individually deal low damage but can rack up to high damage. Every time he hits a player, they will be tripped briefly, allowing him to combo very well with the other three members. Essentially he works as a buffed version of his Lethal Annoyances. Noxiveil matches the speed of the Heliotrope Coil.

Rayios will start by selecting a random target on the map and following them. On his path, any players who are too close will be jumpscared, displaying a picture of Rayios' face over their entire screen. While this makes it harder to see it will also display the TF2 "YIKES!" text above the players head, slowing them down and causing them to unequip all items. After he reaches his target or some time has passed he will choose a new random target to path to.

Vippy is much different from the rest. He will avoid targeting players whatsoever and will instead try prioritizing the police car chasing after him. To do this he will run from spawn to spawn to avoid the car, strumming his banjo all the while. If players were to ever get trampled or run over by Vippy or the police car respectively they will be instantly killed. Vippy matches the speed of the Heliotrope Coil.

Notes[]

  • Chaos Cartel will extend the timer to 3:20 in Classic rounds.
  • Daratango and Vippy are the only members to bypass Blue Relic. Noxiveil still retains his tripping on hit, however.
  • All members besides Noxiveil are stun immune. However stuns won't affect Noxiveil due to his ability to no-clip, although Relocate Trap can still affect him.
  • If Chaos Cartel is chosen as a Clones round all present Noxiveils will infight and kill eachother, leaving one Noxiveil as the victor that will chase players.
  • Daratango and Noxiveil are the only members to directly attack Ally NPCS, Rayios will simply ignore them while Vippy will only kill them if they get in his way.
  • All members of the Chaos Cartel will often times say random nonsense, This can be used to tell how close they are.

Trivia[]

  • Chaos Cartel currently appears in another Roblox game titled Oculus' Game, a game also made by CaptainSpinxs, and is capable of spawning in Wave 10 or higher, specifically the 'Impossible' difficulty.
    • Noxiveil is not present due to him softlocking players upon killing them.
  • Rayios and Daratango are seen in the Official MH Trailer.
  • The police car's quotes come from GTA V.
  • Chaos Cartel has their own badge unlockable by surviving them.
  • Daratango will play this sound when throwing his cucumber slices.
  • Upon surviving Chaos Cartel, players will obtain a badge emote. This emote specifically references the behavior of Vippy.
  • In Version 1.55.0 (April Fools' 2024), Chaos Cartel was renamed to "we are silly".
