Currencies are a function that allows players to buy items and emotes through the Shop or just use for flexing. There are currently two currencies; Points and Survivals. They have different ways of obtaining and functionality.

Points[]

They can be used to get items in the shop, survive certain killers, etc. You mainly get points from surviving killers in Midnight Horrors. You also get double the points you're supposed to get if you have the Double Points gamepass.  Classic rounds will yield you 10 points, but 20 points if you have the Double Points gamepass. Special rounds which includes Foggy, Blackout, Double Trouble, Clones, Ghost and Earthquake will yield you 20 points, but 30 points if you have the Double Points gamepass. Two special rounds are capable of rewarding you 30 points (40 points if you have the Double Points gamepass) which are Moviestar and Bloodbath. Dying to a killer will yield you 1 point (or 2 points if you have the Double Points) whether it is a special round or classic round. Tophat-Care will give you a second chance at survival if you have died once, meaning you can still have a chance to earn 10, 20, 30 or 40 points (an exception is One Victim). Though, you can lose points in Midnight Horrors by using the Emerald Coil in exchange for increased survival chances (great speed comes at a price), or from special killers such as Thief and Super Doom. Leaving or disconnecting out of the server will completely reset your points, which can be a huge problem for those who heavily rely on points (killers like Pink Face can also be a problem as they also poses an ability to crash your client on sight).

Survivals[]

You generally get them whenever you survive a round, they're mainly used for getting stuff in the shop (emotes & items). If you have died once but have the Tophat-Care gamepass, you will still be able to earn a survival (an exception is One Victim) unless you die for the second time.

Survivals, unlike Points, will not be deducted or reset by any way. The only known way of losing or reseting your Survivals is by disconnecting from the game enough times before the Version 1.4.2 patch or getting Survival-Wiped by a totally malicious game moderator.

Notes[]

  • There's some ways you can get Points without even playing or winning a Round. These includes; Defeating Demonic Guardian, giving enough burgers to Burger-Chan, winning a minigame like 8 Pages, or finding a player using the Bobux item.

Trivia[]

  • Players often rely on Points more than Survivals, leading to a minimum of them spending roguhly around 8 hours straight restless.
  • When Midnight Horrors was firstly released, Points are the only currency in the game. Points are practically useless due to the game not having a Shop during that time.
