Demon Core is a Killer in Midnight Horrors. It represents the "Demon Core" incidents that happened during the Manhattan Project while also using the avatar of the ROBLOX user 123jl123, a developer for Midnight Horrors. It was permanently added in Version 1.38.0 (April Fools' 2022).
Behavior[]
Upon spawning, 123jl123 will do his intro, introducing everyone in the server to the Demon Core. After he finished his introduction to the Demon Core, he will simply stay still and not move. Although him looking quite harmless and a free win, it is not to be underestimated as he is a "provokable" type killer.
Whenever any player touches the Demon Core (stunning 123jl123), 123jl123 will lose focus on the Demon Core and will throw the screwdriver away for no reason, closing the lids the Demon Core, which creates a huge radiation blast that will kill any players within it. The radiation blast will last until the round ends.
Notes[]
- The radiation blast will turn everyone blue before respawning.
- The damaging range is 225 studs from the center.
- If you were to teleport him to you using the Testimony, he would teleport in your head.
- The radiation blast affects allied NPCs.
- The radiation blast is capable of bypassing the Blue Relic only when the player is very close to the demon core.
- Being very close to the Demon core in this state will also discolour the player's skin to a more greyish tone. If you are wearing the Oculus Top Hat UGC, it will also be effected by changing the red to a more pinkish colour.
- The radiation blast doesn't cover the entire map, so it won't be that hard to distance yourself and survive it.
- However, all hopes will be lost if you're in a small map such as Challenge Cube.
- Angels will approach Demon Core and stand around it idly as the blast will rapidly heal them instead.

Trivia[]
- 123jl123's voice lines originate from a video.
- Demon Core used to instantly end the Round after being provoked. This was later removed after The April Fools' 2022 event ended.
- Demon Core is meant to end rounds quicker; however, it appears that feature does not function correctly, and the round still lasts 120 seconds.
- Demon Core used to appear in another Roblox game titled Oculus' Game, a game also made by CaptainSpinxs, and was capable of spawning in Wave 10 or higher, specifically the 'Impossible' difficulty.
- The reason for his removal is currently unknown.
