Midnight Horrors Wiki
"Why can't i find this killer in-game?..."
This Killer is no longer in Midnight Horrors and cannot be seen in-game.
Goodbye, old friend.

Herobrine will become a Killer in Midnight Horrors. He originates from Minecraft, however, Herobrine doesn't actually make an appearance in Minecraft and is only a myth for the game. He will be revamped and re-added in a future update.

Behavior[]

When Herobrine spawns, he will extend the timer to 3:00. Just like in Minecraft, every player will be forced to be in first-person camera. However, Herobrine will spawn a thick white fog, similar to Tirsiak and PizzaBear. Herobrine does not normally chase and pursue nearby players like other killers, rather, he behaves somewhat like "Simon Says" but more unpredictable especially because he's able to make sudden appearances to catch players off guard.

Ever so often, Herobrine can make a fake clone of himself as a form of hallucinations for the players. Their spawnrate is in between 7 and 35 seconds, the clones will simply stare at a player and disappears when the player gets close to them. This effect is client sided.

Herobrine will decide on who to target and chooses what he can do to his targets :

  • Herobrine will teleport directly in front of a player, the correct response is to look away immediately. Failure to do so results in being struck by lightning. Herobrine will sometimes scream while doing this.
  • Herobrine will sometimes teleport at a distance in front of a player, watching silently. If the player doesn’t run and look away, he will ignite them on the spot.
  • Herobrine will let out a scream, alerting players to stop moving. If the player still move around he will ignite or smite the player.
  • If Herobrine begins rapidly teleporting around a player, he must be stunned quickly. Doing this too late and he will smite the player.
  • Herobrine can stalk his target by teleporting behind them, copying their speed and following the player until they looked at him. Just remember to watch your back.
  • Herobrine may randomly initiate an "attack" chase, sometimes teleports behind a player, then starts chasing his target while beating them up rapidly.
    • Herobrine has two types of chases, "Attack" chases and "Punishment" chases. Attack chases have a set walkspeed and don't tend to last very long. Punishment chases on the other hand, will copy his target's base speed to easily catch up with said target, these chases also last quite some long time.
      • Sometimes Herobrine will halt and leave his target alone after punishment chases if the target stuns him, because stunning Herobrine takes away from his "chase patience".
  • Herobrine may also spawn a bunch of Minecraft Zombies near his area, these zombies walks at slow speed and wiggles so they don't form clustered groups, dealing somewhat decent damage, especially if grouped together, These zombies also does not despawn naturally. However, they can be be killed by stunning them 3 times with any stun items. Herobrine has a cooldown after using this ability.
    • If these zombies were really far from any targets, they will start to choose random targets to chase no matter the distance.

This however, if a target were to stay close near any walls (a.k.a "Wallhug"), Herobrine is unable to teleport near them and instead his target will be teleported to a random spawn point, then he will initiate a chase. Although he can sometimes teleport a random player just "for fun".

When stunned by players outside of his "Rapid Teleports", Herobrine will get provoked, counter attacks by lightning strikes and burns nearby players in a burst of rage. He will also scream when provoked, although this provoked state duration is really short.

Notes[]

  • Herobrine uses Ghast screaming sound effects for his screams obviously, and an Angered Enderman sound effect when initiating a chase. Oftentimes, players would hear various cave noises especially if Herobrine is near them.
  • When Herobrine spawns, there will be a text saying "Now playing : 13", a Minecraft reference where a player puts a music disc on a Jukebox.
  • When hitting a zombie with the Metal Bat, the item will be recharged.

Herobrine was a Killer in Midnight Horrors. He originates from Minecraft, however, Herobrine doesn't actually make an appearance in Minecraft and is only a myth for the game. He was removed in Version 1.3 (Killer Overhaul Update).

Behavior[]

Like many other killers in Midnight Horrors, Herobrine would actively chase and pursue the nearest players. Herobrine was slightly faster than the player's running speed and could kill players who were a little far and a little close to Herobrine.

Notes[]

  • All speed coils in Midnight Horrors could outrun Herobrine.
  • Every time Herobrine managed to land a hit on a player, it would make the oof sound from Minecraft.
