Hook Kick is an Item that is given to players who've bought the MEET AMONG US DOG gamepass during any of the April Fools' events except for the April Fools' 2020.
The gamepass is available throughout these dates:
2021: March 31st - April 13th | 2022: April 2nd - April 10th | 2023: March 31st - April 1st | 2024: April 22nd - May 21st | 2025: April 15th - May 15th
The Hook Kick has no actual physical representation, in use however it is represented by a bright green glare accompanied by very high pitched sound.
Function[]
Upon first click, the user eye's will glow green while making a loud high pitch scream, while active the user's speed slowly becomes faster. The user can click to kick after around 1 second of activation, clicking again during this will make the user do a roundhouse kick, stunning any killers hit by this for 7 seconds. If the player chooses not to kick for 5 seconds, it will automatically end. Successful kicks will play a certain sound effect. Unlike the Metal Bat, this does not do any knockback.
If the player owns the DEFEAT AMONG US DOG badge, equipping the Hook Kick will replace it with the Kiryu Kick, the tool image also changes to pink. Upon use, it will function exactly the same, however it instead has a bright pink glare and the player gains pink shoes that leave behind a trail. This additionally plays music while in use.
The Hook Kick & Kiryu Kick has a cooldown of 15 seconds.

- The Hook Kick is capable of stunning certain killers that the Metal Bat cannot.
- The Hook Kick is still available, by buying MEET AMONG US DOG. However the Kiryu Kick isn't available.
- A player using the Hook Kick is slightly slower than a Speed Coil when at max speed.
- If the player uses the Hook Kick on the You. killer, it will cause an explosion that would kill any nearby players.
- Obviously, this is a reference to the Cloaker from Payday 2.
- Hook Kick can stun ally NPCs.
- Hook Kick is also an item used by Noob Squad.
- Hook Kick has the ability to glitch certain killers such as Spirit Hellions, Conk and Wilbur.
- On March 31st, 2023, the co-owner Blithwin put the MEET AMONG US DOG gamepass back on sale "until his clock hit 2/2" because certain people in the Oculus Inc server told him to.
- "Master Among us dog sees potential in a few of you young crewmates... Wield his teachings, say the word, defeat him, and you may be worthy of the Kiryu Kick... (new servers only)" said by the co-owner Blithwin.
- If you own the DEFEAT AMONG US DOG badge and having Hook Kick in your loadout, make sure that you equip it and don't use it too early, wait until the icon turns pink. For some reason, clicking it too early will cause glitch that makes you can't activate the ability, the only way to fix it is resetting the avatar.
- In Version 1.54.0, Hook Kick got a completely new animation change.
- The MEET AMONG US DOG gamepass was originally 1,500R$ before rising to 3,000R$ in 2021. It remained that way for 2022 and 2023. In 2024, it was temporarily priced at 2,892R$ before increasing to 3,500R$.
