HyperBlox was an Event Subplace in Midnight Horrors, added in Version 1.61.0 (April Fools' 2025) for the HyperBlox Event. It can be accessed from Happy Home (HyperBlox) by standing on the event circle. HyperBlox is located on the "Rocket Arena" from an old game created by ROBLOX, where you have to defeat 5 waves of enemies with the final boss being the "Scripter". After defeating the final boss, players that deal enough damage to Scripter will be rewarded the BLOXXED badge and Hoverboard item. This event is heavily based on ULTRAKILL's Cyber Grind.
Mechanics[]
- Starter Weapons - After loading the event, every player is given the Linked Sword as a default weapon and is mostly used for parrying. Before the Waves starts, every player will be given 4 different choices of weapons and they must pick one starter weapon that they can use later when the wave starts.
- 4 of the Starter Weapons includes :
- Rocket Launcher - Projectile
- Paintball Gun - Hitscans
- Superball - Throwables
- Chainsaw - Melee
- After 20 seconds, If a player did not pick any Starter Weapons, then the game will pick a random weapon.
- 4 of the Starter Weapons includes :

- Dashing - You have 3 stamina bars for dashing, while dashing you have a very short period of invincibility frames, Dash jumping is faster and goes further but takes 2 stamina instead of 1.
- Sliding - When sliding, you will be forced to slide in one direction at a faster speed than walking, you cannot regenerate stamina while sliding although you still can use any weapons.
- Healing - You can heal in two ways:
- By parring an attack or projectile, you gain extra health if said projectile hits a target.
- By doing damage close to an enemy
- You CANNOT heal while having Hard damage applied to your health.
- Lives - Every player have 3 lives each wave, when the main boss arrives, all players' lives is set to 1. After beating the boss on the next wave your life is set back to 3.
- Server Lives - Server lives are lives that indicated how many times you and your team can run out of lives, if the Server lives reaches 0, the team gets sent back to Midnight Horrors.
- Tix - Tix is the currency of this event, you can gain tix by killing an enemy, or parrying, killing bigger enemies gives more money. The money caps at 425 per wave, Doing enough damage to the main boss gives you an extra 100 Tix, dying to a boss will punish you with huge Tix loss. If played with other players, you will receive more tix than usual (cap doesn't increase).
- Tool Giver - After every main boss, a shop a.k.a tool giver will appear, you can spend Tix to purchase weapons to use, while also having the option to sell any weapon by clicking them in the hotbar while in the tool giver.
Enemies[]
Commoner, well, mentioned from their names already, is a common basic enemy that will spawn on every waves with varying numbers. There are different unique appearance for each Commoner that spawned, some might even wear classic ROBLOX hats. Commoners are based on ULTRAKILL's Filth enemy type.
Behavior[]
Commoners only have one basic parriable attack which is just a simple short-timed wind up lunge on a straight line towards a target. Parrying said attack will instantly kill them.
Trivia[]
- Commoners plays a death sound upon dying, that can be found here.
Gallery[]
Ranger is another basic enemy that will spawn on Wave 1 to 4 with varying numbers. Similar to Commoners', Rangers will spawn with randomized appearances. Rangers are based on ULTRAKILL's Stray enemy type.
Behavior[]
Rangers also only have one basic parriable attack, in which they charge up and fires a single Energy projectile towards their target. Players can parry this attack and redirect the projectile depending on where they aimed, and the projectile now explodes on contact with any solid object.
Trivia[]
- Rangers plays a death sound upon dying similar to Commoners.
Gallery[]
Drakobloxxer is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 2 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Streetcleaner enemy type, although missing the "gas tanks" behind them.
Behavior[]
Drakobloxxers will also use only one attack, but introduces players a "blue shine" attack for the first time indicating that this attack couldn't be parried. When Drakobloxxer gets close to a player, they will begin to breathe out fire and slowly burns the player, they will keep on doing this until the player goes out of their range.
Notes[]
- Drakobloxxers are the only enemy that cannot be protected by Mediums.
Trivia[]
- Drakobloxxers originates from the old ROBLOX game titled Build To Survive Drakobloxxers! (The original game is now [Content Deleted] but here's the Rescripted version).
Gallery[]
Maurice is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 2 as a Miniboss and later spawns as a regular enemy on Wave 3 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Malicious Face/Maurice enemy type.
Behavior[]
Maurice is the first flying enemy introduced on Wave 2. Maurices are slow, usually moves to catch up with players if they are out of range with the player. Once they're in range, they remain in place, barraging the player with volleys of six Rocket projectiles in rapid succession. These projectiles can be parried back towards where the player currently aimed at.
On the other hand, Maurice can begin charging up a laser beam, indicated by a blue shine. Once the beam is ready, Maurice will instantly flick in the direction the player is currently going in, attempting to lead its shot for more precise demolition, before firing it. The beam travels instantly a.k.a "hitscan" and explodes upon contact with any surface.
Maurice has a shield that protects him from explosions, the shield can be taken away by dropping his health to half, altough, they will become ENRAGED. During this state, Maurice attacks much faster and will shoot 2 beams one after another.
Upon death, Maurice falls to the ground, damaging any enemies beneath it and creating a non-damaging shockwave.
Notes[]
- Maurices are immune to explosives and splash damage of any kind until he gets enraged.
Gallery[]
Cyborg is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 2 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Schism enemy type.
Behavior[]
Cyborg will walk at sluggish speed within medium range of the player in order to attack. They will either fire a series of projectiles in a horizontal or vertical pattern. Unlike other projectiles, Cyborg projectiles have a damaging beam connecting between them that must be dodged.
Gallery[]
Enforcer is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 2 to 3 and later on Wave 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Cerberus enemy type.
Behavior[]
Enforcers are slow and predictable, but deal decent amounts of damage that can catch the player off-guard and should not be underestimated.
Enforcer can throw a medium-speed projectile in the direction of the player, causing an explosion on impact. The projectile can be parried. If the player is within medium range, Enforcer will perform a forward dash in their direction, this attack cannot be parried. Enforcers can also stomp the ground if they are somewhat close to a player, creating a large damaging shockwave that damages and launches the player upward.
If multiple Enforcers are present and a player kills one of the Enforcer, this will ENRAGED the other alive Enforcers, this state is permanent, lasting until death.
Gallery[]
Killbot is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Drone enemy type.
Behavior[]
Killbots are aerial enemies that will slowly move toward a player or quickly back away if the player gets too close until they are at medium range. Their primary attack is simply shooting a rocket toward a player, the projectiles can be parried.
Upon death, they will fall down to the ground and explode.
Trivia[]
- In the original source a.k.a the "Drone" from ULTRAKILL, when killing a Drone, they will fly toward the player in a suicide dive attack, exploding on contact. This is not the case for Killbots, but instead can be seen from Griefers' behavior.
Turret is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5. They could possibly be based on ULTRAKILL's Hideous Mass enemy type.
Behavior[]
Turrets will spawn at random spot on the map, incapable of moving and stays completely still at the same spot until it dies. after spawning, turrets will shoot 4 rockets at the closest player one at a time, unable to be parried however, easy to avoid. When a Turret reaches 33% health, they will become ENRAGED and shoots rockets more often.
Upon death, they will have mini explosions along with alarm sounds coming from it, followed by one giant explosion, destroying the turret
Gallery[]
Soldier is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Soldier enemy type.
Behavior[]
Soldiers have two attacks, their primary ranged attack and a defensive sword lunge. Their primary attack is a volley of multiple Energy projectiles fired from their flak-cannon in a spreading triangular formation, with the center projectile aimed directly at the player. Parrying one of the projectile will make the projectile explodes on impact.
Their secondary attack is a sword lunge that launches them usually towards a player's back, which they only perform if the player gets too close.
Soldiers also have the ability to "parry" projectiles that was thrown at their directions.
Notes[]
- Due to said Behavior, if a player were for example attempts to use Firebrand to kill Soldiers, they will most likely miss the explosion because the Soldier will dash behind the player. This makes Hitscan weapons the best counterattack to Soldiers.
- Whenever a Soldier "parried" a projectile for example Rocket Launchers and Paintball gun's Spray cans, instead of deflecting that same projectile, they will deactivate the projectile completely and take no damage from doing so.
Griefer is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 as a Miniboss, and later as a regular enemy at Wave 5. They are likely inspired from ULTRAKILL's Mindflayer enemy type.
Behavior[]
Griefer is an aerial enemy that constantly circles around a player and frequently teleporting around the arena to attack. They emit high-pitched vocalizations as they prepare attacks.
Griefer's primary attack is a spread of 6 Hammer tools as explosive projectiles all fired in rows, telegraphed by a Yellow Flash and the usual flash sound. These projectiles home in on the player, starting off slow before gradually accelerating during their traveling time. These projectiles can be parried, or deflected with explosions.
Another attack that Griefer is capable of is producing a Blue sphered Orb "Energy-like" projectile where Griefer can "control it" by using their right arm gesturing that they are bringing the projectile to their targets. The Orb itself moves at a slow speed while homing at a player, this Orb will not change target until it explodes on impact or despawns if it never hit anyone.
The last attack Griefer can do is charge up a laser beam attack that sweeps across the air in the general direction of the player. The lasers lasted quite long, thus forcing players effort into dodging this attack to mitigate lethal damage.
Once killed, Griefer will emit a "Dying" sound effect and flies toward the player in a suicide dive attack, exploding on contact.
Trivia[]
- Griefer shares the same death sound with Ronin.
- Griefer is partially inspired by ULTRAKILL's Mindflayer enemy, Griefer has 2 of the same attacks from Mindflayers.
- Specifically the "6 Hammers projectiles" attack and "Laser beam" attack.
Gallery[]
Sentry is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Sentry enemy type.
Behavior[]
Sentries will move around the map until they have found a good position, even if they are directly in front of the player, and will then crouch then begins to aim at a player while charging their attack. While charging, they are completely stationary and a red laser appears that tracks the player, alongside a high-pitched beeping that will get progressively faster the closer they are to shooting. Breaking line of sight by going behind a wall will also cause the Sentry to cancel the charge, causing it to get up and relocate. Once they have fired, they will fire a 100% accurate hitscan attack that deals 70 damage.
If the Sentry is charging its attack and a player stays too close to a Sentry, it will kick the player, doing a considerable amount of knockback and 35 damage. This attack cannot be parried, but does have a considerable amount of start-up and has very poor range, making it relatively easy to dodge. Unfortunately, even while a Sentry is already charging the shot, while a player gets close to them, the Sentry will immediately cancel their charge and proceeds to kick players that are close to them.
Note[]
- Sentries can also be easily countered by doing a +CHARGEBACK!! (By precisely throwing a Spray can into the shot's path as it fires, causing it to reflect towards the nearest target, instakilling a Sentry should it be targeted.)
Gallery[]
Stalker is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Stalker enemy type.
Behavior[]
When a Stalker spawns, they will wander around the area or chases random players. Stalkers move at a really fast speed, outrunning if not all of the other enemies. Once getting close enough to a player, they will ignite the bomb they're carrying and will kill themselves in the process, this bomb creates a huge explosion radius with high damage. The bomb will also explode if Stalker dies to a player.
If a Stalker's explosion hits any nearby enemies, said enemies will be coated with blue colored particles, this indicates that players will not be able to heal back from enemies covered with said blue particles.
Trivia[]
- Stalker is a reference to the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Necromancer is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5, serving as a Miniboss at Wave 5, specifically at Chunk 4. They are likely based on ULTRAKILL's Virtue enemy type.
Behavior[]
Necromancers will spawn and float randomly around the map. It will try to hit nearby players with a beam of light, indicated by a spawn logo that trails behind the player. It may also revive nearby enemies that has died whilst giving them a short amount of invincibility.
Upon death, Necromancers will drop to the floor and cause a medium sized explosion.
Notes[]
- Necromancers can revive anything that's not Bosses, Mediums, other Necromancers, or Stalkers
Gallery[]
Stravant is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5, serving as a Miniboss at Wave 3, specifically at Chunk 6. Their AI/Behaviors are inspired by an ULTRAKILL Custom Enemy titled "Revenant".
Behavior[]
When a Stravant spawns, it will immediately teleport to the nearest player. Stravant has 4 attacks. It can summon a lightning strike, indicated with a blue circle under the targeted player.
It can summon a sphere projectile that moves at a moderate speed, chasing and locking on to a target, this attack cannot be parried and can hit multiple times.
Stravants can also charge at the nearest player, causing a damaging shockwave. It can also teleport to the sky and slam down causing the same damaging shockwave.
If a player ricoshots Stravant, it will become ENRAGED, increasing the frequency of its attacks.
Once a Stravant dies, it will emit a high pitched roaring before exploding, dealing massive damage to any player and enemies within its radius.
Trivia[]
- Appearance wise, Stravant's are based on Stravant's Lightning.
- Stravant's death sound is basically just Mindflayer's death sound but high pitched.
Gallery[]
Medium is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 3 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Idol enemy type.
Behavior[]
Mediums will spawn at a random spot on the map and protect a nearby enemy, making whatever enemy is protected immune to anything. The only way to destroy a Medium is by using melee weapons such as Linked Sword.
Notes[]
- Mediums take priority in protecting big enemies, this makes them a high priority target and must be taken down immediately.
Gallery[]
Bloxxerman is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 4 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Gutterman enemy type.
Behavior[]
Bloxxerman will chase players at a slow speed. If a played gets in its line of sight, they will fire their minigun aimed at players dealing rapid damage when hit, their tracking starts off slow and their tracking will improve the longer they maintain line of sight.
If a player manage to break its shield, it will be ENRAGED and shoot more often with lower cooldown and faster tracking.
Alternatively in close ranges, Bloxxerman can also bash their shield dealing moderate damage and huge knockback, this attack cannot be parried. Though, they cannot do this melee attack once they are enraged.
Upon death, Bloxxerman will have many mini explosions before a bigger explosion killing it.
Notes[]
- Bloxxerman can be easily countered by performing a +CHARGEBACK!! (Throwing spray cans at their direction, deflecting their bullets back to them, this deals huge damage to them)
- Bloxxerman's shield can be destroyed instantly by Firebrand's explosion.
- Due to Bloxxerman's aim tracking, It's best to not stay in their line of sight for too long.
Gallery[]
Bloxxertank is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 4 to 5. They are based on ULTRAKILL's Guttertank enemy type.
Behavior[]
Bloxxertank will roam around the map at a speed slower than Bloxxerman, being the slowest enemy on foot. Occasionally, they will place landmines, If a player is too close to a landmine, it will bounce up and beep rapidly before exploding. These landmines stay deployed even after the Bloxxertank that deployed it dies.
When a player is in Bloxxertank’s range, It will shoot a homing rocket that chases the target until it hits the target or touches any surface and creating a huge explosion.
Similar to Bloxxerman, Bloxertanks can also use punch attack if a player gets close to them, this attack also cannot be parried.
Upon death, Bloxxertank will have small explosions before a last bigger explosion killing it.
Notes[]
- Bloxxertank's landmines is a really good healing source as they can be parried and can be thrown by whoever parried the landmines to where they initially aimed their cursor at.
Gallery[]
Subspace is an enemy that will spawn on Wave 4, Serving as a Miniboss, then later spawns as a regular enemy at Wave 5. They are based on an ULTRAKILL Custom Enemy/Mod, titled Carcass.
Behavior[]
Subspace will spawn and float randomly around the map similar to Necromancers. However, this enemy is a top priority target due to their highly disruptive and huge damage output abilities, here are the following :
Subspace spawns 3 crystals around them that will circle around the Subspace themselves, these crystals can fire a purple hitscan bullet towards a player in their line of sights. Additionally, these orbs will despawn while healing the Subspace, and then respawns another set of orbs.
Subspace itself can perform two attacks that cannot be parried unfortunately, they can fire 3 Subspace Tripmines on top of their head into the air and later lands on a player.
They can also summon a tracking circle beneath the player. Upon stepping on it, the circles sprite will change, and 10 spikes will emerge. Each spike goes along a path adjacent to the players trajectory. They will repeat this attack two times, and summons a "fake" circle after the second rows of spikes has spawned.
If a player manages to kill all 3 crystals before they healed the Subspace, it will become ENRAGED and proceeds to follow the nearest target until they gets close and self destructs, creating a really big explosion that damages anything (+Hot Pink).

In their first phase they ride a "Retro" styled mech-like vehicle. This mech has two arms, a torso piece, and a singular tire it rolls around on. The mech is primarily covered in grey armor plating with black parts representing the inside of the mech. Attached to the shoulders are shoulder pads which each have mounted rocket launchers and above Scripter's seat is a mounted Vulcan. On the mech's right arm it carries the Spec Zeta Biograft Energy Sword gear. On its left arm it wields a Gatling Gun attached directly from their elbow piece. On the middle of their mech is a Bloxxer logo.
During Scripter's 2nd phase, they ditch their mech and are equipped with a jetpack, rocket launcher, and the same energy sword gear as phase one.
Fight[]
Phase 1[]
After dealing with the 10 chunks present on Wave 5, Scripter will fall from the sky aboard their mech. Afterwards, he will deliver a voice line before commencing the fight.
- Slam - Scripter in their mech leaps up into the sky, attempting to land atop a player. When landing they will create an expanding shockwave.

- Front-End Barrage - Scripter readies the Gatling gun on their left arm and fires large black orbs towards players. Scripter will sometimes combo this with Spec Biograft Sawblade, immediately using it after ceasefire.
- Repository Cannon - Scripter himself pulls out a sniper rifle and fires it at a player, creating a hitscan telegraphed by a blue flash that deals massive damage.
- Explosive Database - Scripter drops many small mines onto the ground. These mines will jump upwards before falling back down if players get close to them, upon hitting the ground again they will explode for high damage. Players can parry these mines to restore large amounts of health.
Phase 2[]
Once players reduce Scripter's health to 40%, his mech begins to malfunction and explode. Scripter ejects from the mech, which then detonates in a big explosion. Afterward, Scripter continues the fight on foot and with a jetpack. Scripter also gains a new moveset.
- Flying Slam - Scripter will attempt to fly directly toward the player at immense speeds, if Scripter impacts a surface it will create an expanding shockwave. Else, he will simply teleport back if he flies out the arena. This attack is parriable with good timing.
- Flying Super Slam - Similar Flying Slam, Scripter will fly directly towards the player, creating expanding shockwave upon impact, additionally this attack creates a large explosion and cannot be parried. Scripter will always use this attack first upon reaching phase 2.
- Syntax Slashes - Scripter swings their energy sword 3 times, each swing causing him to dash forward, the third slash is parriable.
- Vanishing Dash - Scripter will vanish, before reappearing nearby a player, they will then proceed to do a incredibly fast slash lunge before vanishing again. Scripter will always do this 3 times, the third slash lunge is parriable.
- Spec Biograft Sawblade - Scripter uses their energy sword and spins it rapidly to turn it into a Sawblade, Scripter will throw the blade out at a player. If the blade collides with a wall it will create a large explosion after a few seconds. The Sawblade is also parriable with good timing.
- Back-End Black Hole - Scripter deploys a black hole. This black hole will slowly track down players. Upon coming in contact with the black hole it will vanish and set the player's health to one.
- Firewall - Scripter launches a singular rocket that will home in towards players and chase them down. The rocket will explode upon impact, but it is also parriable.

Voicelines[]
- "LET US TEST YOUR WORTH." (Intro)
- "YOU WILL NOT SUCCEED." (Repository Cannon & Vanishing Dash)
- "YOU HAVE NO FUTURE." (Casting Sawblade)
- "THIS IS YOUR FINAL BATTLE."
- "YOU WILL FIND OBLIVION." (Slam attacks)

- "YOU MUST DIE." (Firewall Cluster)
- "FAILURE." (Killing a player)
- "YOU DISAPPOINT ME." (If players ran out of server lives)
- "SPEAK FOR YOURSELF." (If player were to taunt Scripter)
Notes[]
- Scripter will speak whenever he uses a specific attack or moveset as seen from above, this can help players react to it much better without getting too overwhelmed.
- During Phase 1, if the generator on the back of Scripter's mech takes too much damage at once, it will cause him to become enraged, increasing the frequency of attacks.
- Scripter seems to go after a random player instead of the nearest players. The player that scripter is targeting can distract him while the others that aren’t being targeted can deal damage to him.
Trivia[]
- Some of Scripter's attacks seem to draw inspiration from ULTRAKILL. His black hole most likely referencing it's appearance in the Corpse of King Minos bossfight, his mines representing those placed by Guttertanks, and his first phase death animation is based on Sisyphus Prime.
- Scripter's voicelines comes from Injustice 2, specifically belonging to Dr. Fate.
- If the player were to type "you suck" in the chat during the boss fight, Scripter will say a special voiceline.

The Tool Giver. (it has legs ooo scary)

Tool Giver's UI. (The 'Tix' count is infinite or "yes." because this was taken from the testing game)

Notes[]
- It is recommended to start off with the Paintball Gun, Due to its versatility against to multiple types of enemies.
- Spray cans are extremely useful do damage enemies quickly, either by a ricoshot with paintball itself or a slash of paint with a sword
- After performing a Slash of Pain(t) with a paint can, you can shoot it with the Paintball Gun while its in the air after it hits an enemy to cause a +Ricoshot [x(y)] with it.
- Spray cans are extremely useful do damage enemies quickly, either by a ricoshot with paintball itself or a slash of paint with a sword
- Majority of enemies have a brief window before they attack during which they can be parried, indicated by a "Yellow/Orange flash". Successful parries will grant bonus style points displayed as +Parry
- Although, some enemies can perform an attack that cannot be parried, indicated by a "Blue flash".
- On the first wave, its recommended to parry enemies instead of killing them or perform multiple +Slash of Pain(t) with the Paintball Gun until you get your Tix at max in the wave.
- This can also apply to further Waves obviously.
- There are bosses during and at the ends of waves 1-4, those bosses being Ronin, Maurice, Corkscrew, Stravant, Spiegel, Bloxxerman, Subspace, Bloxxertank, Necromancer, and Messenger. These later appear more in wave 5 as regular minibosses that you need to kill.
- Despite this, Spiegel and Messenger are a one-time miniboss and will not reappear at Wave 5.
- Hitscan weapons are the best option to do damage against fast targets, like Scripter's Phase 2 and Messenger.
- A good source of healing is by doing Slash of Pain(t) close to an enemy, parrying Bloxxertank's & Scripter's landmine, using Firebrand to clear up groups of enemies, and doing Full Impact with Platform Producer.
- You can also use Laser Scythe and Minigun. These can be done by being very close to an enemy.
- In order to get the BLOXXED badge, players MUST deal "enough" damage to Scripter. For example, if there are 5 Players, they need to deal 10% damage to Scripter, or 20% damage if the player died. Otherwise, it will consider the player not dealing enough damage to Scripter and will simply teleport them back to the main game immediately after defeating Scripter, thus will not reward them with the badge.
- Best tip is to maintain safe distance from Scripter, while doing pretty much anything to deal as many damage as possible, even if end up dying.
- For example, doing an +ULTRARICOSHOT!!
- Best tip is to maintain safe distance from Scripter, while doing pretty much anything to deal as many damage as possible, even if end up dying.
- Use enemies weakness to your advantage, like a +CHARGEBACK!! against a Bloxxerman.
- If you need some training against some bosses or just the Waves in general, you can visit the HyperBlox's test game, here you can spawn enemies in a private server or attempt a Wave Testing run.
- You can also test some loadouts in there.
