Isolation is a Map in Midnight Horrors. It originates from Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, more specifically the Karamari Hospital DLC where Monster 2 and Monster 5 are first introduced. It was added in Version 1.3.7.
Features[]
Isolation is a small maze that consists of grubby looking metal bars, and dirty yellowish flooring. The Red Circle of Oculus originates at the middle of the map, surrounded by a weaving of metal bars. The four corners of the map are where players are most likely to group up, as they are the furthest areas from the Red Circle.
Survivability[]
Since most killers have pathfinding, they can easily weave and dodge through the maze while only getting stuck in tight binds. Players on the other hand will run into walls all over the place due to the darkness, especially with a fast Speed Coil, so it's not the smartest idea to go getting a Killer on your tail on this map. Noclipping killers are given an advantage in this map due to its small size and relatively confusing navigation. Since the map is so small, it can be easy to track the killer by listening to death sounds and watching the healthbars of nearby players.
Notes[]
- Its best to not use a very fast coil on this map due to tight spaces, using an Emerald Coil will probably end with you being on the floor and vulnerable to death.
- Due to the narrow areas, certain killers can easily get stuck on this map.
Trivia[]
- The Isolation Zone from Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion is much larger than the version from Midnight Horrors.
- In Version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021), Isolation was renamed to "PRISON DIMENSION" and decals were not covered (?).
- In Version 1.21.0 (Easter 2021), Isolation had an egg hidden on it, more specifically in the outer corners of the map.
