Joel Army were a grouped Killer in Midnight Horrors. Based on Midnight Horrors Developer 123jl123. Temporarily added in Version 1.47.3 for 123jl123's Birthday.
Behavior[]
Joel Army spawned in the Red Circle of Oculus as a group made up of about 11 different Joels. Each member of the Joel Army (with one exception) borrows the AI of another killer.
Joel[]
The supreme leader of the Joel Army.
Joel is a major threat within the army, having extremely deadly attacks that one shot. They will choose between one of three attacks depending on range. When players are very close or directly under him he will stop his foot down creating a binary shockwave that obliterates any players it comes in contact with. Secondly at medium range he will lift his ban hammer before slamming it down, creating a massive AoE explosion that obliterates any players caught in it. Lastly at long range he can choose to fire a binary laser from his eye at a random player, swiftly draining their health but potentially leaving them alive.
Joel borrows the AI the similarly named killer: Joel.
Joelfiler[]
Joelfiler is one of the few ranged members of the Joel Army.
He will begin by pursuing the nearest player at a swift speed with his rocket launcher and sword out. Upon a player getting in range and line of sight Joelfiler will fire quick bursts of rockets at players, creating an AoE explosion upon hitting the terrain or a player. If the player gets within melee range they will cease fire on their rocket launcher, attempting to slash them with their sword dealing hefty damage and leaving them in a dangerous state.
Joelfiler borrows the Brickbattler AI and the Defiler multi-rockets and speed boost from Army of Conflict.
Stare Joel[]
Stare Joel is another member of the Joel Army.
He will approach the nearest player greater than the speed of the Emerald Coil, however upon reaching 75 studs away from the player he will decrease his speed to a near standstill. If a player were to look at Joel in this state they will be instantly killed. If he managed to get close enough to the player small chunks of health will be taken from them, but not an outright one shot.
Stare Joel borrows the AI of the similarly named killer: Stare Joel.
Searcher Joel[]
The one somewhat original member of the Joel Army.
Searcher Joel's name is his main concept, he will wander from spawn point to spawn point seeking out players to attack. If a player managed to enter his line of sight he will immediately start sprinting towards them, moving at the same speed as the Helitrope Coil. Upon reaching melee distance he will begin doing small amounts of damage in quick succession, draining the HP of players very swiftly.
Searcher Joel's speed and chasing animation are borrowed from James, although unlike the others he does have a unique searching AI compared to James.
Upside Down Joel[]
Upside Down Joel will teleport around players and will damage anyone looking at him. Upside Down Joel won't actually attack when collided with.
Upside Down Joel borrows the AI of Villicus from Void Legion.
Joel Pack[]
The main population of Sweden.
Joel Pack will target a random player on the map and begin chasing them down, each member of the Joel Pack chasing at the same speed, however with different timing offsets, causing them to be distanced from each other slightly. When they reach their targeted player they will begin beating them, dealing high damage with a relatively low cooldown, each Joel has their own cooldown allowing them to maul players efficiently. If they fail to kill a player in a certain allotted time they will enrage, increasing their speed gradually over time. They move at the speed of Ultra Coil however during their rage they can move at speeds upwards of the Glass Coil. A total of 30 Joels will be present.
Joel Pack borrows the AI of A Sweden of Joels. Although they take on the aspects of a clones round of this killer, the amount of Joels being tripled from 10 to 30.
JoelBot[]
The plush PNG himself.
JoelBot will pursue the nearest player at the speed of an Ultra Coil. Upon coming in contact with a player the player will be instantly killed and ragdolled, launching their corpse away. Joelbot suffers from no cooldown leading to them being a good group wiper, along with this he has a relatively large kill zone.
Joelbot borrows the AI of Nextbot.
Joel the Killer[]
Survival the Joel the Killer.
Joel the Killer will pursue the closest player at a snail's pace, simply walking towards them, however upon falling within a certain range they would gain a slight speed increase and begin running, upon reaching a player they'll stab them with their knife, killing in three hits. (six with Double Health.)
Joel The Killer borrows the AI of The Lol.
Sprinter Joel[]
Joel's marathon.
Crazy Joel will always pursue the closest player at the speed of the Glass Coil. Coming into contact with him will deal medium damage with a low cooldown, allowing him to dispatch of unprepared players quickly.
It is unknown where Crazy Joel's AI is borrowed from.
Deluxe Joel[]
Shouldn't this guy be in the Joel Cartel?
Deluxe Joel will begin the round similarly to Joel Pack by targeting a random player. After the player is selected they will begin accelerating towards them while noclipping, allowing them to cover ground much faster. Upon coming in contact with his target they will explode, instantly killing them. If any other players touch Deluxe Joel on his path they will also explode. Every so often Deluxe Joel will deploy Joel Swarms, these Joel Swarms essentially act as miniature forms of himself, chasing down players and exploding on contact for miniature damage.
Deluxe Joel borrows the AI of Deluxe Noxiveil.
Balloon Joel[]
AI is currently not testable, add the AI if you know it.

Trivia[]
- Joel the Killer is constantly Screaming which can give away his location.
- Players could have earned a badge for surviving, though due to how RNG dependent this killer and the spawn chance was, only 69 players were able to obtain it, making it the rarest badge killer.
