"Why can't i find this killer in-game?..."
This Killer is no longer in Midnight Horrors and cannot be seen in-game.
Goodbye, old friend.

Lamp was a Killer in Midnight Horrors.

Behavior[]

Like many other killers in Midnight Horrors, Lamp will chase and pursue any nearby players. When Lamp isn't close enough to players, it will go into an idle state with it's only form of movement being the occasional few stud long teleport. Once a player does get close enough to Lamp, it will start sliding towards the player at a speed much faster than any players without a coil. Lamp kills players in 2-3 hits (3-4 hits with Double Health) and has a very short cooldown after every attack.

Notes[]

  • All available coils in Midnight Horrors are capable of outrunning Lamp.
  • Like a few other Killers, Lamp emits light around itself which helps players identify it in darker Maps or Blackout rounds.
  • Lamp will chase and kill noobs deployed from the Noob Tube.
  • Lamp does not bypass the Blue Relic.

Trivia[]

  • In Version 1.6 (April Fools' 2020), Lamp was renamed to "Rubber Lamp??"
  • In Version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021), Lamp was renamed to "Lamp Oil?"
  • Lamp has the same look as the lamps found in the old version of IKEA, this could have helped itself blend in while idle.
  • During Blackout rounds, Lamp's display will be changed to "A Light in the Darkness".
  • Lamp also appeared in older versions of Midnight Horrors. It was much faster while chasing players in these old versions, being identical in speed to the Ultra Coil.
  • Lamp was removed in Version 1.52.1 for being too 'lame' and/or copyrighted.
