Meat Factory Inside was a Map in Midnight Horrors. It is based on the area of the same name from the indie game OFF. Unlike most maps, Meat Factory does not have its own soundtrack, or music at all. It was added in Version 1.14.0.

Features[]

The map is color-changing. Sometimes it is a blood-red tint, the other times it is blue. The water, however, where the green platform all players spawn and walk on floats, is blood-red, and so are its waterfalls. There are multiple pieces of raw meat(likely steak) floating in the water. In the middle of the map and a bit north is the Oculus Circle. The player will spawn a few hundred stubs away from it. Behind the player will be a room with a gleamining white door- that is impossible to pass through. To the players front is pure empty space blocked off by an invisible border.

Difficulty[]

During Blackout Rounds, the maps red tint will make it even harder to see- but the flashlights green lowers down the difficulty by a little bit. The placement of the maps objects and walls to make the players think there are passable spaces(white 'door', empty 'pathway') can stall and confuse the player, giving fast, not easily outrunnable chase-based killers more time to chase the player down.

Notes[]

  • When the map is blood-red, the flashlights shine will make the red platform look green. The reverse happens when the platform is green.
  • The map only turns red when a Round is in process. During intermission, the map reverts back to normal colors.
  • There is a glitch spot on this Map where you can get out of bounds.

Trivia[]

  • Meat Factory Inside was removed in Version 1.60.1 due to controversy with the creator of this map.
