Noob Tube is an Item in Midnight Horrors which originates from the Noob Tube gear on ROBLOX. It can be purchased in the shop for a total cost of 50 points. When triggered, the Noob Tube will deploy a Noob that can act as a bait for killers. Many killers may ignore noobs, so it is best to know which ones first before you plan on distracting a killer. It was added to the Shop in Version 1.3.
Effect[]
As stated previously and in the item's description, the Noob Tube will deploy a random noob variant that will wander around the map for 2 minutes (depending on the type of noob) before despawning. The Noob Tube can deploy multiple variants of Noobs, varying from Noobs with advanced AIs to hostile Noobs that attacks killers for the sake of players. There are currently six Noob variants that can be spawned, with some being quite common and some being rare (0.1%). Below are the variants that can be spawned by the Noob Tube;
Some variants have a higher health pool, varying from 250-500 HP. They also have different abilities as stated earlier. Some variants will walk in circles whilst others are capable of chasing and stunning killers. While some of them have a high health pool, they are still prone to killers that can kill in a single hit, or just have a nonexistent cooldown, being powerful enough to wipe out ??? noobs in just a second. Some killers may just ignore and not chase the Noobs, leaving the Noob to live, while some killers don't chase and ignore Noobs, but will kill them right away if they encounter one, sometimes without even needing the Noob to get in ranger of their attacks.
Trivia[]
- Prior to the Noob Tube's revamp, the Noob Tube could only deploy a type of Noobs that have 200 HP and acts very similarly to Basic Noobs, but with a slightly altered AI. It's cooldown is also much longer. Noob Tube's price was 200 points.
- Unlike players, noobs can be stunned by the Pipe Bomb and Pumpkin Staff.
- In Version 1.42.4, the Noob Tube was given a global cooldown due to it being able to crash servers if enough players were spamming it.
- When the Noob Tube was revamped in Version 1.22.0 the cooldown was short and it didn't have a global cooldown which made it easy for a groups of players to spam the server with Noobs.
- This was fixed a day later.
