Ragnarok is a Killer in Midnight Horrors.

Behavior[]

Ragnarok has multiple ways of taking down players. Ragnarok's main attack is pulling out their hammer and proceeding to slam it on the ground. This will cause an explosion and it will instantly kill the player. Ragnarok is also able to spin, which causes them to teleport to the nearest player, most likely killing them shortly after as Ragnarok runs extremely fast. If players are farther away from Ragnarok, they will throw a small bomb at them, which will explode on contact and kill any players in the explosion.

However, once 70 seconds past (50 seconds left in the round), Ragnarok will go into their enraged state. Ragnarok will lose all of their previous attacks, but in exchange for that will become much faster and have a much shorter attack cooldown. Rather than attacking with a hammer like before, Ragnarok will start attacking with their head, killing players instantly and efficiently. Ragnarok will keep their ability to teleport every so often in their enraged state.

Notes[]

  • You can dodge his hammer attack if you're fast enough, but due to his big hitbox you most likely won't.
  • When Ragnarok isn't enraged you can outrun him with Heliotrope Coil
  • Ragnarok's rage speed is the same speed as the Emerald Coil.
  • All of Ragnarok's attacks bypass Blue Relic.

Trivia[]

  • In Version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021), Ragnarok was renamed to "Ragnation".
  • He sounds like a 12-year-old child, even when his face distorts into pure horror.
  • Ragnarok is effectively a child who's self-absorbed.
  • Ragnarok usually is 40 centimeters.
  • He is the creator of the Gavel, who in-turn created and houses existence.
  • He is the creator of Marble Eyes, one of the many failed attempts before the Gavel and is now sealed away.
  • Most of the time, he keeps himself hidden from the human world. This is because a long, long, LONG time ago, he fully revealed himself to one of the worlds in the Gavel's bubble, which accidentally led to the creation of Satanism.
  • When he chooses to appear in the human world, he blends in as your average "free-from-school college student" type of person.
  • He has his own language.
  • His Pop! Sound effect is taken directly from Nuclear Throne, specifically the character Yung Venuz.
