Retro Zombie Apocalypse are a grouped Killer in Midnight Horrors. They were added in Version 1.50. They are the Revamped version of Classic Zombies.
Behavior[]
Unlike most group killers, Retro Zombie Apocalypse will spawn in a group of 20 zombies, individually one after another at random player spawnpoints instead of the Red Circle of Oculus. There are two possible zombies that can spawn, with those being either Normal Zombies, which chase after the nearest player at a pretty slow speed, or Easter Zombies, which are slightly faster and can outrun a player's running speed. Both zombie types deal relatively low amounts of damage, although Easter Zombies do slightly more.
While this killer doesn't seem like much of a threat at first, many zombies will spawn and their numbers will quickly pile up, allowing players to get easily swarmed later in the round.

- Every coil is capable of outrunning Retro Zombie Apocalypse.
- Retro Zombie Apocalypse does not bypass Blue Relic.
- Retro Zombie Apocalypse will chase and kill NPCs such as Noobs from Noob Tube, Forcefield Walls & enemies from Hallow Cube.
Trivia[]
- Retro Zombie Apocalypse will still follow you if killerignore is activated, but they cannot harm you.
- In Version 1.55.0 (April Fools' 2024), Retro Zombie Apocalypse was renamed to "buhruhh brabinn brain!".
- In Version 1.61.0 (April Fools' 2025), Retro Zombie Apocalypse was renamed to "RETRO RETRO RETRO RETRO RETRO".
