"Shall we get started?"
- Ofre/Scarlet Persecutor's intro
Scarlet Persecutor is a Killer in Midnight Horrors, added in Version 1.54.0. He is an OC created by BeezelduD. He is the revamped version of Ofre.
Appearance[]
Scarlet Persecutor resembles Ofre's design but with some differences. His head and torso have large vertical mouths with sets of teeth. The insides of his head and torso emit a red glow, resembling Scarlet Persecutor's fire. His horns are a bit crooked and are partially wrapped in cloth with Chinese writing. He has a spiked back, and he wears long gray pants. As weapons, Scarlet Persecutor uses two large sickles with thorn-like spikes on the blades.
Behavior[]
When Scarlet Persecutor spawns in, the timer will be extended to 4:00. Scarlet Persecutor will then proceed to chase the closest player to him, as is with most killers in Midnight Horrors. He will initially approach his targets slowly, but will then change to a faster running speed. Scarlet Persecutor has a massive arsenal of abilities at his disposal to get rid of players, these being:
- Fire: A majority of Scarlet Persecutor attacks can set players on fire; this fire damage is incredibly dangerous and should be avoided at all cost. This is due to the fact that scorched players will have their health rapidly drained until death. Once a player dies to the fire, their body parts will explode, igniting the area and becoming a hazard to other players. Scarlet Persecutor will count the ignited players as dead and ignore them.
- Mind Possession/Mind Control: Throughout the entirety of the round, Chinese words and symbols will appear on every player's screen. The letters will come from the sides of the screen and make their way to the center. If the symbols make it to the center, a cloud will form on the player's screen, which grows denser the more symbols reach the area. If the cloud gets dense enough, the player will die. The only way to avoid this is by quickly clicking on these symbols; it is heavily recommended to close the chat and leaderboard, due to them blocking the player's ability to click the symbols.
- Slash: Scarlet Persecutor will do a simple horizontal slash which does moderate damage and sets the target on fire.
- Double Slash: Scarlet Persecutor will stop for a moment while putting his sickles down; right afterwards, he will do a double slash upwards which does heavy damage and ignites the player; he will also do a small dash.
- Sickle Chase: While chasing a player down, Scarlet Persecutor will start to aggressively and rapidly hit his sickles towards the target for a moment while moving, giving him a little speed boost and doing decent damage with almost no cooldown.
- Spin: When he's close enough to a target, Scarlet Persecutor will charge forward and spin with his sickles, this does heavy damage and will ignite the player.
- Multi-Slash: When a target falls into Scarlet Persecutor's line of sight, he will perform a dash and a multi-slash attack that deals low damage but with absolutely no cooldown whatsoever; this will trip players while also igniting them.
- Stomp: When a player gets too close to Scarlet Persecutor, he will stomp the ground and trip nearby players, dealing 25 damage.
- Fireball: When a player is within Scarlet Persecutor's line of sight, he will throw a fireball that will home onto the player and explode on impact, dealing moderate damage and igniting the player along with the area it hit.
- Slice: This attack is similar to Fireball; however, the range is much more precise and the area is more scorched.
- Jump: Scarlet Persecutor will proceed to jump at players that are still alive. When landing, an explosion ensues and fire is spread from where Scarlet Persecutor jumped. If a player is in the area when Scarlet Persecutor lands, they will be flung and be set on fire. This attack can be avoided using the Emerald Coil.
- X-Teleport: Scarlet Persecutor will choose a random target to teleport, in which he will become relatively transparent before doing a small area attack to the player he teleported, this does moderate damage and ignites nearby players.
- Trap: If the map has a decent gap of space between walls, a red line will appear in front of a random player. If the player touches the line, they will explode and be launched high, while also igniting the player. The only way to avoid this attack is to jump over the red line. The line will disappear after a few moments.
- Tree: This attack targets random players. Rocks will appear on the floor, giving a warning that the tree will emerge in that area. If the player is caught in the tree, the red clouds on their screen will go up extremely quickly and letters will spawn even more frequently. This attack also trips players.
- Minions: If a player or an ally NPC dies to his Mind Control/Mind Possession or Tree attack, they will be turned to minions; these minions are faster than a running player and deal decent damage; they can also charge at a target, dealing moderate damage.
- Scorched Minions: After some time has passed, the minions will become scorched, indicated by multiple red orbs around their bodies. Once they get close enough to a target, they will bend down and proceed to explode, igniting the area they were in.
Dying to Scarlet Persecutor, no matter which attack he uses, will prompt players with a unique death screen.
Notes[]
- Any fire that is on the ground will disappear after some time has passed.
- Scarlet Persecutor can turn any player or ally NPC into a minion if they get hit by his Tree attack.
- Players can also turn into minions if they don't click on the symbols from Mind Control/Mind Possession in time.
- However, the symbols caused by Scarlet's Tree attack hitting a player aren't clickable, leading to a sure death.
- Using the Blue Relic or any other kind of invincibility item, such as Ranga Workshop, can block only ONE of Scarlet Persecutor's attacks / abilities (except for the Tree); if you get hit a second time shortly after the first, he will break through any applied invincibility frames and hit the player, which is indicated by a glass shattering sound effect.
- Scarlet Persecutor's Tree attack can bypass Cloak of Invisibility.
- Getting hit by the Tree while being under the effect of killerignore will negate the damage taken but not the Tree visual effect, which will continue to dot your screen with symbols.
- Scarlet Persecutor's minions can be outran with a Speed Coil.
- Scarlet Persecutor targets NPCs, but only if they're close to him.
- Scarlet Persecutor is stun immune, but the minions aren't.
- Similar to HorroMist, Scarlet Persecutor will prioritize killing every alive player in the server, ignoring players who have already died to him.
- Scarlet Persecutor tends to only jump when the targeted player is out of his line of sight.
- Scarlet Persecutor may also intentionally try to trigger this attack by running to someplace where he cannot see the player.
Trivia[]
- His voicelines originate from Aeon (english vers.), a character from Castlevania Judgement.
- Scarlet Persecutor's death quotes can be heard if a player were to be killed around another alive player.
- As of current, Scarlet Persecutor is the rarest badge killer (not including Joel Army and Poopy21112), due to the fact that his versatile moveset is near-impossible to dodge when everyone dies or there is a low player count.
- Scarlet Persecutor is not immune to using the killer delete on Bobux Tycoon.
- On release, Scarlet Persecutor would completely break when encountering and killing a NPC, which lasted for a few days till this was fixed. This is where a majority of his badges were obtained.
- Upon surviving Scarlet Persecutor, players will be rewarded with a badge emote.
- Scarlet Persecutor currently appears in the new game icon, along with Oculus, NooN, Postman, Freeby and Friday Slasher.
- If Scarlet was told to "crank 90s in Fortnite", his lord would respond by telling him to "cave your skull in".
- Scarlet's belongs to the original group of demons that "devolved" into the universe's normal demons.
- He's around 2,000 years old in human time, which is young for a Pureblood like him.
- During Clones rounds, Scarlet Persecutor's display will be changed to "ARSON."
- In Version 1.55.0 (April Fools' 2024), Scarlet Persecutor was renamed to "OSU!".
- In that version, his attacks were spammable and his theme was also changed to The Big Black.
- In Version 1.61.0 (April Fools' 2025), Scarlet Persecutor was renamed again to "OSU!", this time however his theme did not changed.

- "Enjoy yourself while you can."
- "I'm honestly disappointed."

Ofre was a Killer in Midnight Horrors. Ofre is an OC created by BeezelduD. He was revamped in Version 1.26.0.
Behavior[]
Like many other killers in Midnight Horrors, Ofre will actively chase and kill nearby players. He will walk at a decent speed to the closest player. If he manages to get close to the player he will open his maw and charge at them, instantly killing those who get caught. Occasionally, Ofre will change up his behavior and start running to the nearest player. Once he gets to the player, he will stomp his foot on the ground, causing a small explosion that deals moderate damage and ignites the area along with players and ally NPCs nearby. Anyone caught in the stomp will be briefly stunned.
Roughly every 30-35 seconds, Ofre will stop in place and snap his fingers, causing random players in the server to stand in place and put their hands over their head as result of Ofre's mind control, leaving them vulnerable to other killers. The affected players will have to spam A and D to break free from his mind control within a short timespan shown by the screen zooming in and becoming heavily distorted. If they fail to break out of the mind control, they will die and turn into a Zealous Follower. Players struggling against the mind control are incapable of using items. Zealous Followers will actively chase and attack players in the server at a decent speed, attacking by jabbing at players with their knives.
If a player is in Ofre's line of sight, he may briefly slow down to throw a small fireball at a player. Upon impact, the fireball will explode, dealing moderate damage, briefly stunning, and igniting anything caught in the explosion. Additionally, Ofre will also passively summon multiple slashes at random players' location, causing anything caught within the slashes to ignite and break apart violently, scattering the victims' limbs before exploding individually and igniting the area. When a burning player or ally NPC dies, they will explode. This also sets the area ablaze, becoming a hazard for other players.
Notes[]
- Ofre and the Zealous Followers will ignore players who are set on fire or under the effects of mind control. Additionally, they will completely ignore ally NPCs. Ofre, however, can still hit both ignited players and ally NPCs if they get caught in the crossfire of an attack.
- Ofre is stun immune, meaning he will not be affected by the Metal Bat or other stun items. The Zealous Followers aren't stun immune, meaning they will be affected by stun items.
- Anyone set on fire will burn indefinitely until they die.
- Ofre is capable of bypassing the Blue Relic, however the Zealous Followers aren't capable of bypassing it. His fire will still damage you even when the Blue Relic is activated. Only Barrier or killerignore can block the damage of Ofre's fire.
- Ofre can be outran with the Ultra Coil while walking. His charge can be outran with the Glass Coil. While he can be outran with the Emerald Coil while running. The Zealous Followers can be outran with a Speed Coil.
- Ofre is unable to toss fireballs while running.
- Ofre's fireballs can curve and even make a full circle if given enough space.
- Ofre's stomp can be dodged though this is rather difficult to pull off.
- Players who die while under the effect of Ofre's mind control will still be converted to a Zealous Follower if they fail to break out of the mind control. However, since the Zealous Follower has 'died', they may be impaired, causing them to be less dangerous or even completely harmless.
- The fire caused by Ofre's stomp and ignited players or ally NPCs may persist for a short period or even close to a full round; the fire duration varies.
Quotes[]
- "Any more would be a waste of time."
- "That is my desire."
- "Shall we get started?"
- "This is where you'll find what you desire."
- "If only I could make you see reason."
Trivia[]
- Ofre also appears as both a statue and a mural on the map Place of Worship.
- Ofre is one of the nine dukes, standing at the 5th position. He is a demonic ent capable of hellfire pyromancy (which burns everything equally), possession, overwriting a consciousness, draining someone's life-force, hardening his own body mass to rapidly regenerate or create sickles, rebirth, and creating seeds which sprout or turn other creatures into ents.
- Ofre originates from a common tree that sucks the life out of nearby things by wrapping their branches around them. However, Ofre was affected by 'undefined' and gained a higher level of sentience.
- Ofre himself keeps a friendly outer persona, acting like royalty most of the time. If you disrespect his master, Encryptos, he'll want you dead on the spot.
- His body is constantly undergoing a state of decomposition from which he regenerates constantly, at a rate faster than he decomposes. This loop creates the yellow on his body, which is a rotten, acidic liquid.
- The liquid reeks more than death itself, but can be masked.
- It's acidic to the touch, and no earthly materials can resist it.
- It gurgles constantly, but can be drowned out.
- The liquid's sometimes colorful patterns can "assault the eyes".
- His name is a 'corruption' of the word Offer.
- His voicelines originate from Aeon (english vers.), a character from Castlevania Judgement.
- Ofre's 'multi-slash' attack shares similarities to Silent Eyes' base attack. It also MAY be based off of the Vergil's Judgement Cut, considering both are technically ranged and summon slashes to inflict damage.
- The player exploding and setting the area on fire is pretty similar to Ashpit's burning goons setting an area on fire.
- Ofre also appears as a Doodle minion for Paige The Sketchbook.
- Ofre appears in another ROBLOX game called CMG with his third design. However he is only exclusive to BeezelduD.
- If Ofre was told to "crank 90s in Fortnite", his lord would respond by telling him to "cave your skull in".
- Scarlet's belongs to the original group of demons that "devolved" into the universe's normal demons.
- He's around 2,000 years old in human time, which is young for a Pureblood like him.

Behavior[]
Like many other killers in Midnight Horrors, Ofre will actively chase and pursue nearby players. Ofre will walk towards the closest player on the map, his walking being a bit faster than the Speed Coil. Once Ofre has gotten close enough to a player, he will gain a huge speed boost and his upper body will split in half revealing a giant maw. He'll constantly snap at the player until he catches them, in which they will die instantly. When the player dies, their screen will be covered with an image of Ofre's body contorting, which remains until the player respawns. All other players in the server will be treated to the same effect, however it lasts much shorter.
Occasionally Ofre will point up, exclaiming "That is my desire." Random players will suddenly be forced to walk/run towards Ofre (depending if they are running or walking). Players have to spam A and D to struggle loose of this 'possession' Some emotes like the Carson, Demonic Dance, and Caramelldenson which will keep you locked in place until you press E. Emotes like those are great choices to not get pulled to Ofre and will lead you into an advantage of survival. During this, Ofre will remain in place with his maw wide open. Once enough players have reached him, he quickly snaps his maw shut and kills anyone near him. He will then continue to walk towards the nearest players like normal.
Notes[]
- Ofre's yellowish spots can be seen in the dark and give away his location in darker areas.
- The possession effect wears off on it's own after a certain amount of time.
- If a player is still possessed after Ofre has struck, they will still continue walking towards Ofre while he is walking around.
- Ofre can be harder to survive in bigger servers with inexperienced players because players may more often die to him, causing his screen effect to appear more often.
- Ofre will not target noobs from the Noob Tube. He also ignores the Forcefield Wall.
- Ofre can be outrun with the Emerald Coil when he’s charging

Ofre was a Killer in Midnight Horrors. Ofre is an OC created by BeezelduD. He was added in Version 1.8.12.
Behavior[]
Like many other killers in Midnight Horrors, Ofre will actively chase and pursue nearby players. If no players are nearby, Ofre will walk slowly towards the nearest player. Unlike other 'idle & chase' killers, Ofre can also start chasing after a certain amount of time has passed. Once he starts chasing someone, he won't go back into his idle state until he kills someone. In his idle state, he will sometimes laugh. Every time he laughs, a screen effect will appear, briefly covering the player's vision. Ofre's runspeed is also based on the player's runspeed, similarly to Mhevithi, so he likely cannot be outran with any coils available, including the Emerald Coil. Once he reaches a player, he will instantly kill on contact.
Whenever Ofre kills a player, every player in the server will have their sight blocked by the same screen effect displayed whenever Ofre laughs, but opaque instead. This effect can make it harder for players to see where they are going and to tell if Ofre is approaching. In bigger servers with more players, this can make Ofre especially harder to survive due to there being more players getting killed, making the effect appear constantly (if not present during the entire round).
Notes[]
- Ofre ignores players that have the Blue Relic activated.
- Ofre will not laugh while he's in his chasing state.
- SUPPOSEDLY, whenever Ofre is bonked by a Metal Bat, he will teleport and then un-stun himself.
Trivia[]
- Ofre's theme is slowed down and distorted in-game.
- Unlike his newer model, this Ofre does not have a tail.
