Special Rounds are rounds with different variations of Classic Rounds. Special rounds can temporarily and drastically change the round, or the player's screen or lighting depending on what effect it has on the map. All Special Rounds increase the difficulty of surviving a round as some special rounds may faint vision, while others may increase the number of killers in a round. Special Rounds yield more points if a player manages to survive the round, but will still reward the player 1 survival regardless. Special Rounds can randomly appear after intermission which have a displayment above the killer's name. Special Round's purpose is to mainly make the player's experience harder.

- Surviving a badge killer during a Special Round will not reward a badge.
Trivia[]
- Before Version 1.3 surviving a Special Round would gave the same amount of points as surviving a Classic Round.
