Sewers is a Map in Midnight Horrors. It is loosely based off of the Stranger Sewers level, explorable in Chapter 3 of Dark Deception. It was added in Version 1.0, and Revamped in Version 1.8.6.

Features[]

The Red Circle of Oculus is contained inside of a big sewage area. Said area consists of six openings in the shape of semi-circles, as well as two corridors on opposite sides of the room. The room is held up by big pillars, and there are small lights above each opening. Most of the openings are closed off, but there is one opening that is actually open, which can be differentiated by both the light (which is flickering), and the fact that there isn't complete blackness. Going in the opening isn't much worth it though, as it just leads to a dead end.

One of the corridors in the room will also lead to a dead end, however the other corridor leads to a lot more areas, which are mainly other hallways or dead ends. While most hallways lead to dead ends, occasionally there may be a loop in the map, that isn't too big as compared to the map itself. Along the walls of these hallways may be pillars, closed off doors, crates, barrels, or maybe door parts. Throughout the hallways are also lights of different types, whether they'd be placed along the walls, the ceiling, or right above doors.

Difficulty[]

While the map isn't that small, the amount of dead ends the map has can get players that are new to the map easily cornered and lost. The loops aren't too big either, which makes faster killers a much bigger problem in terms of getting away from them. Since the map can get pretty dark when the rounds start, it also becomes quite hard to see most killers.

Trivia[]

  • The Sewers map is the domain of the Dread Duckies.
  • The map is created by Rock_R3B00T3D and NueroMaxticz.
  • In Version 1.20.0 (April Fools' 2021), Sewers was re-named to "Peter Griffin Bowsette" and reverted back to its old version and decals we're covered everywhere again.
  • The old version of Sewers was re-added into its own map in version 1.54.0.

Sewers was a Map in Midnight Horrors. It is based off of the Stranger Sewers level, explorable in Chapter 3 of Dark Deception. It was added in Version 1.0.

Features[]

The map consisted of an enclosed sewage room surrounded by a sewer loop. The sewer loop that surrounds the large room at the center was illuminated by fluorescent green lights and in each corner, a thin, elongated pillar could be found in all four corners. The center of the map was a large, empty room with several pillars randomly placed across the room, and was also illuminated by the same lights found around the sewers. The Red Circle of Oculus could be found in the center of the map, with two entrances facing each other at opposite ends.

Difficulty[]

This version of Sewers was a medium-sized map that provides enough space for players to roam around while playing Midnight Horrors. Its simple layout allowed players to loop around the map in-case they are being pursued by a killer and allows them to quickly identify where the killer is coming from, giving them enough time to head in the other direction. Special rounds that obscured players' vision such as Fog and Blackout and rounds that summoned more than one killer at once could easily turn the tides in favor of the killers, as players will be ill-prepared if the killers cannot be seen, or if multiple killers are terrorizing the server.

Trivia[]

  • This version of the map used to be featured in one of the older thumbnails used for Midnight Horrors.
  • In Version 1.6 (April Fools' 2020), Sewers had a bunch of decals everywhere.
