Veneficus was a Mini Boss of the Midnight Horrors Summer 2020 Event. Veneficus was created by Draggyy.
To summon Veneficus, the server must select Ancient Grounds on the Map Voting. Ancient Grounds during the Event should have "(!Event!)" next to the name. If the map was selected, then there is a chance Veneficus will spawn when the round starts. When Veneficus spawns, the round announcer will say "Defeat this guy!" and everybody will be given a crossbow to fight him. The crossbow you receive inflicts 40 Damage when hitting Veneficus. The health will be different depending on the amount of players in the server. If you fail to defeat him within the time limit, the game will not progress to the Main Boss and the map will automatically change to a random map that isn't Ancient Grounds. On the other hand, if you do defeat him, you will progress on to the Main Boss, Pharaoh King Solaris.
Attacks[]
Despite this Miniboss seeming pretty strong, the attacks only do around 10-20 damage for every attack.
- Sand Blast: Sand Blast is an attack Veneficus uses to get players that surround him. This area blast has a wide range of about 50-60 Studs! This attack is a bit hard to evade if you're too close.
- Sand Tornado: Sand Tornado is a ranged attack that Veneficus uses to stun players within the air, he uses it when people are at a distance. You can easily evade this attack.
- Sand Throw: Sand Throw is a ranged attack where Veneficus throws a big ball of sand at a player. This attack is easy to evade.
- Sand Barrage: Sand Barrage is a ranged attack where Veneficus launches multiple little pellets of sand at a player. This attack is easy to evade

- Unlike the main boss Solaris, Veneficus has a timer you can see like a normal killer. you have about Six Minutes to defeat him.
- Veneficus is able to noclip, so sometimes he can go through the walls and avoid your arrows.
- Veneficus doesn't walk like Solaris. He instead flies around the map trying to beat you.
