Vibrant Uneasiness was a Map in Midnight Horrors. It was added in Version 1.39.1, and was removed most likely removed in Version 1.42.3 due to breaking killer AI.
Features[]
This map is a moderately-sized colorful series of platforms and walkways that takes place in an empty void, "clinging" onto a large pole that marks the center of the map. It consists of two floors, which are vertically distant and are connected by steep ramps that are not seen on any other kind of map.
The first floor consists of a blue zone and an orange zone, with the pillar in the center being hollowed and carved out to fit the Red Circle of Oculus inside of it. From there, two walkways each go to the blue and orange sides, before passing through either an invisible maze or a fake-wall roundabout before reaching the outer portions of the lower floor. There are also corner-obstacles on each corner of the lower floor, which make it incredibly difficult to navigate quickly. The second floor is significantly smaller, and consists of one roundabout going around the pillar. Here the orange and blue zones collide, marking a line of symmetry in the map.
Difficulty[]
Despite this map's rather small-ish size, being comparable to the likes of Entropy or Mall, this map is not only confusing for players, who may struggle to get around the map, but also for some Killers, as their pathfinding often sometimes fails to navigate due to the maze-like structure and the great vertical height, "trapping" them until they are provoked. However, certain killers that reach players in other ways such as no-clipping (like Team Destroyer) or teleportation (like Mal E. Serpentine) often have no problem getting around. Also, due to the general emptiness of this map and absence of visible walls or light sources, Blackout and Fog rounds are slightly less of a threat here than in most other maps.
Notes[]
- This map and Entropy:
- Are infamous for breaking killer AI.
- Are made entirely of colorful plastic studs and set in a void.
- Involve vertical height in a large part of the map space.
